
St Joseph’s School, Manikbond
One of the essential needs of Manikbond village was to have a school of their own. The people unitedly worked to level a hillock to construct a school building. The school was built and named it St Joseph’s School. The school began in 1994 with 24 children and 2 teachers with Fr Lancelot as the first Principal and Sr Avila Vazheparambil sccg as the first headmistress. It has grown over the years and its first batch of students appeared for HSLC examination in 2004. The results of the school have always been 100% percent. At present the school has 486 students and 18 teachers.
