ORDINATION OF DN DAVID NONGRUM MSFS
Dn David Nongrum was born on February 03, 1996 as the fifth child of of Aterius L Lynshing and Philomina Nongrum at Mawbri. He belongs to Epiphany Church Mawbri, Ribhoi Dt, Meghalaya, in the Archdiocese of Shillong. After completing his SSLC in 2014, he joined SFS Seminary, Medziphema, Nagaland. He made his first religious profession on May 31, 2017, at MSFS Novitiate, Chabua, Assam. After the completion of Philosophy at Suvidya College and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Bangalore, he was sent for Regency to SFS Minor Seminary Medziphema, Nagaland. In 2021, he was promoted to pursue theological Studies at MSFS Study House, Shillong. He completed his theological studies at Oriens Theological College, Shillong, and received the Order of Diaconate from Most Rev. Linus Neli Archbishop of Imphal, at Oriens Theological College, Shillong on June 22, 2024. Having successfully completed his theological formation and diaconate ministry at Holy redeemer Renewal Cetre Umroi, Dn David Nongrum will be ordained a priest on January 18, 2025 at Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Laitumkhrah, Shillong by Grace Most Rev.
