ORDINATION OF DN MARTIN HALAM MSFS
Dn Martin Halam MSFS was born on November 19th 1995 as the third child of Neitinglian Halam and Lenjuichun Halam at Pipla punjee. He belongs to St. Joseph's Parish, Manikbond, in the diocese of Aizawl. After completing his SSLC in 2023, he joined SFS seminary Vinaya bhavan seminary and to SFS seminary Medziphema, Nagaland. He made his first profession on May 31st 2017, at Msfs Novitiate, Chabua, Assam. After the completion of philosophy at Suvidya College and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Bangalore, he was sent for regency to Vinaya bhavan seminary Thamarassery, Kerala. In 2021, he was promoted to pursue Theological studies at Msfs Study House, Shillong. He completed his theological studies at Oriens' Theological Institute at Shillong, and received the order of Deaconate from Most Rev. Linus Neli Archbishop of Imphal, at Oriens' Theological college, Shillong on 22th June 2024. Having successfully completed his theological formation and deaconate ministry at St Francis de sales church, Galsi, Dn Martin Halam MSFS will be ordained a priest on 11th January 2025 at Manikbond, St Joseph's Parish Manikbond Assam by Joachim Walder, Auxiliary Bishop of Aizawl.
