Media Ministry (Fransalian Communications)
The challenge today is to use media creatively and view it critically to create a better world for all. Realizing the role that communication ministry plays in the work of evangelization, the MSFS North East India Province has had its Communication ministry since 2005. Fransalian Communications contributed much in enhancing the effectiveness of pastoral ministry during the past years. It has reached out to people through various courses and workshops like Media training courses, teachers’ trainings programmes, and videography and photography courses. It has produced many videos and documentaries, including a documentary on North East India Province: “HAND ON HEART.” The current pandemic situation has called for online transmission of Holy Mass, Recollections, and Annual Retreats.
The province has also set up a studio with multiple facilities like voice recording, still photography, editing suits, pre-view theatre and a stock room. Media Ministry has lots of scope in the field of evangelization today. The current pandemic situation has led many to resort to online transmission of programmes especially Holy Mass, Recollecllection, annual Retreats etc.
