Retreat or Renewal Centres in Guwahati Province are centres of excellence, professionalism, and profundity in spiritual direction and formation, indeed vibrant spaces for spiritual and faith renewal for priests, religious and the laity. A number of confreres are engaged in retreat preaching and animations programmes. Some of the confreres have been specially trained and extraordinarily gifted in preaching and counselling. They bring in reunion and reconciliation in families and among families, bring back the strayed ones to the Catholic faith, and heal the hearts of the addicted. They also engage the laity in the proclamation of the Word.
