St Francis de Sales Secondary School, Umwahlang
Roman Catholic L.P School Umwahlang, started in 1992, was upgraded to Upper Primary School in 2006. It was further upgraded and renamed as St Francis de Sales Secondary School in 2014. First batch of students wrote class X examinations in 2015 and did very well. In order to provide quality education, a better school building was necessary. The construction was taken up and the work was completed in 2012. At present, constructions of a hostel for boys, a hostel for girls, a convent for St Ann sisters and a dispensary building are nearing completion.
