Technical Education Ministry
Right from the beginning, MSFS in India were involved in the apostolate of press and technical institutions. Aim of these institutions was to serve the local church and to provide young people with the basic skills in different trades so that they are able to find jobs. These institutions have given their service to the local church. Many young men have received training in our centres and are well-placed in life. SFS Technical Institute, Diphu, imparts training in carpentry, wiring, welding, driving and printing. Through this ministry, the MSFS continue to reach out to the poor youth of the region, offering them avenues for self-employment and other job opportunities.
